  1. Now take a screwdriver and remove the mounting bracket of the existing floodlight. You are ready to install the new bracket for new floodlight. Take a drill machine and drill holes for the wall plugs and screws. Keep the new bracket on the place and screw it with the help of plastic wall plugs and screws. Make sure that the new bracket is properly fixed.
  1. Remove the cover of the wiring box on pressure box and also remove the screws on the Metric Cable Glands.
  1. Screws on the Metric Cable Glands allow you to route the power cable through the cable gland and pressure block.
  1. To make sure that the gasket is properly fitted, you have to remove the insulation part of the power cable. It is normally 6 to 8mm thick.
  1. Once you have stripped of the insulation from the cable, connect the live wire to the L terminal block and the neutral wire to the N terminal block.
  1. Now, use the pressure block to fit the power cord with 2 screws. Tighten the cable gland, before replacing the cover of the wiring box.
  1. You are now ready to install the new floodlight to the bracket. During the installation of floodlight, you have to be careful that cable should not come in contact with flood light. You can use clips to secure the cable to the wall away from floodlight.
